I pose a question to the scientific world. We are all(anyone with a brain) now acutely aware of mans effect on the ecology of the planet. There are things we do today that wont show its detriment for years. There are things we do that will never be revealed overtly but they have influenced processes that effect us. For every action there is a reaction. It's a fact that large cities create their own weather patterns because of the heat that it generates along with what it stores from the radiant energy received from the sun. Cement, stone, steel are all good conducts for heat. So, here is my question. When we extract billions of barrels of oil from the ground we create enormous voids where the oil once was. When we build cities, such as New York, we place hundreds of million of pounds on a very small geographical area. Do these two events potentially effect the tectonic plates that come in contact with them? Are we creating an environment to increase the likely hood of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions? I know with every thing else to worry about do we really need any more?........ This last question I can answer......YES!

I had bloged in the past about this very same subject. It only makes sense, that oil, being a part of the earth's make-up, serves a greater purpose "other than our own". I'd suggest an ever changing Earth surface just might require a bit of lubrication of it's own. Try telling that to a millionaire oil man. I suspect this is one we will learn "the hard way" which seems to be the way of man!
I read the post u refer to and I have no doubt that you have "Seen" some of the hidden workings of a "System at work".
I need to keep this short and maybe expound upon later.
In spite of mankind's effort to understand the "Universe" and in spite of the thought given by many for thousands and thousands of years, the workings of the "physical universe" (the category of ur observation) is not fully understood. The western man's search for the "theory of everything" remains quite illusive. Quantum physics is currently working on "that theory" that Einstein found so illusive.
Two more points for now....It is the educated man that doesn't consider himself smart but rather the undereducated one because the educated man begins to understand there exists "all" that he knows not!
Lastly, everything is one thing! A perfect system where "Illusion" is a key component. Our eyes see only a small fraction of what is because the retina only responds to certain "energy frequencies" while the ears respond to a different "window of frequencies" and the touch and the smell respond to but a small portion of what can be touched or smelled given a different implement to do the touching and smelling other than the nose or skin. The closer anything is inspected, at a subatomic level it is all the same...energy clusters. So what we see as flesh is only flesh to the unaided eyes and the unaided touch but through scientific tools like microscopes and mass spectrometers all can be seen as being made up of the self same stuff.
That being said, my own thought on the things of the senses including life and death is a creation of mind only and has no more of a reality than of a thought.
Now Jorham imagine that your observation has shown u something about the inner workings of creation...it would be like seeing the interaction between just a very few gears in what I'd call a "possibility machine".
My suggestion to u would be to not conclude anything yet because, as things are at this moment, it is the way it's supposed to be...nothing more and nothing less and tomorrow it well be in many ways different. Keep doing what ur doing but don't forget to love along the way...for now, that's the best I have for u! Regards
I thought of a final note to share with you because It is obvious to me that you are a "Seeker" like myself and many others. Seekers share with others what they find and in that spirit I'll say that the "Big Picture" can be seen in the smallest of things and processes and to cap that off, each and every human being "is a universe" and this Earth is but a part of us. The biggest problem a seeker has is not to find because finding comes as a part of seeking but rather illustrating and conveying what was seen/found in such a way that that is as short and as sweet as possible. Otherwise real gems can be lost among all the smoke and mud slinging. For an idea to hold weight, it must be polished to whereby the idea is judged upon it's own merit and not upon the merits of presentation....simplicity in thought, simplicity in presentation, simplicity in life are all a part of the road to the truths we all seek. If ya get right down too it, "As a dog comprehends it's master, in that way most men comprehend themselves and life"...Regards...Pop'
